Hampton Court Palace flower show (2)

This garden, ‘Our first home, our first garden’ was designed and built with a budget of only £7000. It’s a garden for a young professional couple with little spare cash and knowledge of gardens or plants.

Once again this garden appealed from a planting perspective, but also the effective use of hard landscaping materials. Sustainable reclaimed scaffold boards were used for walls, steps and decking.

Planting included Achillea, Aconitum, Agapanthus, Alchemilla, Eryngium, a variety of Alliums and grasses including Calamagrostis ‘Karl Foerster’ and Deschampsia.
