First day of summer…

The first day of summer and the sun is shining. It’s Easter Sunday and there’s loads to get done:

– Lawns scarified
– Compost bin emptied and mulched on borders
– Foxgloves, white Astilbes, climbing roses all planted
– Verbena bonariensis potted on ahead of planting in May
– Amelanthele lessoniana divisions potted up

And now? It’s Sherry o’clock, of course!
