Chelsea Flower Show – Garden #1

The Laurent-Perrier Garden by Luciano Giubbilei – Nature and Human Intervention (2011).

This stunning garden is about collaboration and contemplation. It’s focal point is a beautiful pavilion crafted with bamboo screens which turn elegantly in the breeze, designed by Kengo Kuma. Whilst sculptor, Peter Randall-Page has imposed human order on the surface of natural stones forms.

A contemplative long pool is flanked either side with an exquisite planting in pink, maroon and brown, comprising Digitalis mertonensis, Deschampsia cespitosa and Iris ‘Dutch Chocolate’.

Simply divine.
