Chelsea Flower Show – Garden #3

Tribute to Linnaeus – Ulf Nordjfell

The beautifully, simplistic lines of this stunning garden (based upon squares, rectangles, straight lines and circles) were contrasted with a restrained but well executed planting palette. A strong, calm green and white theme ran quietly through the garden, with exuberant, white spathed Zantedeschias and foxgloves planted alongside tightly clipped box balls.

A garden to which I was drawn back to many times throughout the day (2007), proving that less really is more.
