Astounding Astilbes…

These beautiful white Astilbe are rhizomatous, perennials with attractive, usually ternately divided leaves and erect plume-like panicles of tiny white, red, pink or purple flowers in summer.

This particular variety is ‘Deutschland’, a compact plant which grows to approximately 50cm tall. The lush, glossy green foliage and is the perfect foil to the open, slightly arching sprays of white flowers in early summer.
